Kenyon Public Library’s Summer Reading Program will be held every Thursday and Friday in June at 10:30 AM. RAD Zoo (Reptile and Amphibian Discovery Zoo) will be kicking off our program at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 4. Please note the half hour earlier start for this program! (This program is funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.)
Our Summer Reading Program is designed for children who have completed 4th grade and younger. However, we welcome kids and adults of ALL AGES to attend the RAD Zoo program on June 4th. For children older than 4th grade, we do not have a structured program but we will have trivia and challenge sheets that will be available any time during June and July. All children that return completed challenges or a completed book report worksheet to the library will receive a prize.
Only children who will be attending the Thursday and Friday programs need to be registered. Even if your child cannot attend all programs we still ask that they are registered so we can plan accordingly. All children age six and younger must be accompanied by an adult. If you have any questions, please call the library at 507-789-6821.
*Registration ends June 1, 2015.
*All Summer Reading Program activities and events are FREE.
