Books, Audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs
With a valid SELCO (Southeastern Libraries Cooperating) library card, patrons may check out books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs at no charge for a two week period. If the Kenyon Public Library does not have an item the patron is looking for, the item may be requested from another SELCO library or possibly even statewide through MNLINK.
Items may be returned at any time using the convenience of the book drop. The book drop is located on the front of the library as you are coming up the ramp into the building. Items may be returned to any SELCO library also. Students at Kenyon-Wanamingo Schools may return public library items to either the elementary or the middle-high school media centers.
The Kenyon Public Library offers free internet through our four public computers inside the library (must have a valid SELCO issued library card) or by using our wireless internet (Wi-Fi) using your own personal mobile device. Wi-Fi can be accessed 24/7 from in front of the library or from the back alley behind the library. Users may park in the alley after 4:30 pm on weekdays or anytime on the weekends to access Wi-Fi.
The library offers Ebooks and E-Audiobooks through OverDrive. For more information about these services please see the eBooks page. For information or access to our databases, please see the Resources page.
Download the free mobile app to manage your library account from your mobile device. You can request materials, check due dates, renew items, and check if your holds are ready to pick up. The SELCO Libraries app makes managing your account easy and accessible. The app is supported for both iOS and Android devices. You will need your 13 digit library card number and your PIN number (last 4 digits of your phone number, unless you have changed it) to sign in to your account.
The library offers educational opportunities through programming events. Our regularly scheduled events can be found under the Events page. Information about special events can be found on the Home page.
The Kenyon Public Library offers proctoring of examinations as a service for members of the community and surrounding area as a means to further their education and/or career.
