Storytime begins at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday and Friday mornings during the months September through May. Storytime lasts approximately 45 minutes to one hour. During this time children will listen to two or three books, sing songs, participate in activities, and create a craft revolving around a specific weekly theme. An adult is required to attend and participate with their children. The same program is offered on Thursday and Friday of each week so more people can attend as our space is limited. Please choose which day works best for your schedule.
Our storytime programs are designed to teach preschoolers creative expression, social skills, listening and comprehension skills, the basics of reading through number and letter recognition, and aid in vocabulary building and cognitive development. This program is designed for children age 2 through lower elementary, though all children are welcome to attend with an adult. Daycares are also welcome. Storytime is a free program
